Tony Milesi, Au.D. – Audiologist | Musician Hearing Advocate | Tinnitus Specialist

Dr. Tony Milesi is a dedicated audiologist based in Austin, Texas, offering a full range of audiology services including comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and custom hearing protection. As a certified Lenire provider, he offers advanced solutions for those seeking relief from tinnitus.

Originally from Indianapolis, Dr. Milesi earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees from Ball State University. Known for his calm, easy-going demeanor, he makes sure every client feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their hearing journey.

He is especially passionate about helping musicians and concert-goers protect their hearing. As an Ultimate Ears dealer at RK Audiology, he offers in-office demos of custom in-ear monitors and personalized protection options.

Venessa Rector is the Clinic Coordinator for RK Audiology, managing front-office team members at all clinics and traveling between offices to help keep things running smoothly.

Venessa joined the RK team in July 2015. Initially new to audiology, she assisted owner Paula Rivers in performing hearing aid cleans and checks, ear cleanings, and troubleshooting hearing instrument connectivity issues.

Venessa has a marketing background and a curiosity to learn and try new things in growing the practice. She attended the Occupational Hearing Conservation training through CAOHC to understand the field of hearing conservation and the profession of audiology.

When not at RK, Venessa enjoys date nights with her husband, listening to local music around town, and relaxing at nearby lakes with the family.

Founder and co-owner Paula Rivers grew up in Mineral Wells, TX, riding motorcycles, operating heavy equipment, shooting guns, and listening to loud music without ear protection. This early noise exposure gave her a first-hand appreciation for the importance of hearing protection.

Paula graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Human Relations with a minor in Radio/Television/Film. She earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in speech-language pathology from Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of North Texas.  

Paula travels between RK locations to support, manage, and educate the audiology team on best practices and the ever-growing and changing landscape of hearing healthcare.

She taught the Amplifying Systems in Aural Rehab course to audiology doctoral students at the University of Texas at Austin with colleague and RK Westlake's lead audiologist, Dr. Victoria Villarreal.

Paula is fascinated with the anatomy and physiology of the ear and is an early adopter of the latest technology. Paula has expertise in customized hearing technology and made-for-smartphone options.

In her free time, she can be found playing with her pup, strumming her ukulele or guitar, riding her bike, and finding the sunshine.
