“Alina Dr. Linthicum, AU.D. was recommended to me by my allergist who had been treated at Hear Here Audiology. Young in my estimation (65) to having a hearing loss I needed someone who understood tinnitus AND my high demand for a hearing aid that functioned as an amplifier, background noise discriminator, and "ear bud" to listen to podcasts and professional webinars. She thoroughly explained my loss being in the "conversational range". When fitting the hearing aids, she gradually stepped up the amplification to not "alarm" my brain too quickly with all the sounds I didn't know I was missing. I am able to hear my adult children on WhatsApp / FaceTime and their young children's voices. It is worth the time AND financial investment to keep my brain AND relationships healthy.”

“If you are seeking an Audiology practice where you want professional competency, but you don't want to feel rushed or treated like a number, I highly recommend Dr. Alina Linthicum & Dr. Mary Burton to you. I have been a patient of Dr. Linthicum for between 1 & 2 years, after finally yielding to my wife's "encouragement" that I needed to have my hearing more professionally tested. The test indicated that I did, in fact, have some hearing loss at certain frequencies, so I began the process of learning about alternatives to help the situation. What I found with Dr. Linthicum was information. She explained choices, features, benefits & costs, answering all my questions. I never felt any pressure, whatsoever. During my test period, I did have several questions, as well as some issues with using the manufacturer's software.
